      Hi, Like this we can use:

      SELECT pol_fm_dt, pol_to_dt, ROUND(pol_to_dt - pol_fm_dt) FROM pgit_policy;

      we assume that first date is sysdate and second date  is  a column with name ‘hire_date ‘ then use this query

      select trunc(sysdate) -to_date(hire_date,'yyyy-mm-dd') from dual  .
